Valentina, Brazil
Meet Valentina, a Grade 11 student from Brazil, as she shares her journey of athletic development, leadership, and personal growth at William Academy.
Since joining William Academy, Valentina has embraced every opportunity both inside and outside the classroom. As a member of our volleyball program, she competed in tournaments, trained with coaches from different countries, and even had the opportunity to play alongside a college team, helping her elevate her skills as a student-athlete. Beyond athletics, she became actively involved in the school community through Student Council, Business Club, and French Club, developing valuable leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Living in residence also became an important part of her experience. Valentina found a welcoming community where classmates became like family, creating lasting memories through everyday moments, school trips, and shared experiences. With the support of caring teachers, counselors, and houseparents, she gained confidence, independence, and the tools to prepare for university and life beyond high school.
Valentina's story is a wonderful example of how William Academy empowers students to excel academically, grow as leaders, and discover their full potential in a supportive and international community.
