Meet Emilio, a Grade 12 student from Brazil, as he shares his journey of academic achievement, friendship, and personal growth at William Academy.
During his year at William Academy, Emilio embraced both classroom learning and residential life, describing the experience as a “home away from home.” He actively participated in school activities, student-led events, and excursions, while building strong relationships with friends from around the world. From paddleboarding and skiing to Toronto field trips and everyday moments in the dorms, Emilio created memories that made his Canadian experience truly meaningful.
Academically, Emilio developed the skills and confidence needed for future success. With the support of dedicated teachers, including his favorite teacher, Ms. Raza, he earned university offers from several leading institutions in Canada, including the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, York University, and Western University. Emilio has chosen to continue his studies at the University of British Columbia in pursuit of a career in Business.
His journey highlights how William Academy provides students with the academic support, international experience, and personal development opportunities needed to prepare for university and future success.
